Charger won't start charging. What to do?

1. Check if the gun is inserted properly. 2. Confirm the vehicle is in park/off state. 3. Check the vehicle charge port for foreign objects. 4. Try rescanning or swiping the card. 5. If still not working, call 13974950322 hotline.

Charging speed is slow. Why?

Charging power is affected by battery state, ambient temperature, and grid voltage. In winter, batteries auto-limit power for protection. When battery is near full, it also reduces power. If not caused by above, contact after-sales for inspection.

Charging stops mid-way. What happened?

Possible causes: vehicle-initiated stop (full battery, high temp), grid abnormality (power outage, voltage fluctuation), device protection triggered (leakage, overcurrent). Check vehicle status and grid. Contact after-sales if frequent.

How to bind/unbind a charging card?

Open CHILTON APP, go to My - Charging Card Management, tap Add Card to scan and bind. To unbind, tap Delete on the card.

Can it be installed outdoors?

Yes. All CHILTON chargers are IP65 rated - waterproof and dustproof. Can be installed outdoors. We recommend adding a rain shelter to extend equipment life and improve user experience.

What electricity meter size is needed?

7kW single-phase: 40A single-phase meter recommended. 22kW three-phase: 40A three-phase meter recommended. Multiple units require corresponding capacity transformer based on total power.

Compatible with all EV brands?

Yes. CHILTON chargers comply with GB/T 20234 national standard. Compatible with Tesla (with adapter), BYD, NIO, Xpeng, Li Auto, AITO and all mainstream EV brands.

Fault code appears. How to handle?
